Ladies 2s are League Champions!

Having beaten Alford 2 by 3-1 at the weekend,the Ladies 2s have secured the top spot in the Lincolnshire Hockey Association‘s league. This fantastic achievement is the culmination of years of work from Captain Caz May and her team following continual improvements to their end-of-season finishing position year on year.

Club President Tony Perrin commented “Well done Womens’ 2s – Caz and and all her hard work has achieved the Championship of Lincolnshire League and promotion to the East League Division 2N.”

The move into the East League is, according to Caz, “terrifying and exciting all at once!”. Next year they are expecting a steep learning curve initially, with the overall aim of consolidating their promotion.
