Weekend Review, March the 1st

Once again since Christmas Lincoln Hockey Club saw a win / lose split down the Ladies’ and Mens’ sides last weekend. The Ladies 1s lost away to Bury St Edmunds while the Ladies 2s lost 4-0 at home. In the latter case 2nd Team Captain Caz May saw plenty of positives; Letchworth’s win giving them promotion of the division but not with the sort of 10-0 result that the return game provided in November. The Mens 1s won against Wakefield at home to move above the team into second place in their division while the Mens 2s came back from Brigg with six goals added to their goal difference tally. The Mens 3s returned from Worksop with “yet another” 3-0 win!
