The draw came from the Ladies 1s, in their fixture against Dereham 1 at the Lindum. The Ladies 2s played Spalding 3 away while the Ladies 3s played Spalding 2 at home. The Ladies 2s must be very happy to see a win after their long 2013 / 2014 season while a 3-0 loss for the Ladies 3s is a promising start for the new side. From the mens’ teams the 1s went 3-1 down to Slazengers, away, while they find their feet in Yorkshire Division 1 following promotion last year. The Mens 2s returned from Normanby Park with a win and a goal difference of seven while the Mens 3s took a win at home to Sheffield Hallam 7.

A very positive start for our first run out of the season. Everyone put a tremendous effort into the game and the confidence of our players grew as it progressed.
