From the North

  • From the A1 take the A638 / A57 exit toward Lincoln / East Markham / Retford
  • Continue on the A57 towards Lincoln
  • There is a toll road in action on the A57, currently charging 40p per car
  • Turn left at the roundabout where the A57 meets the A46
  • At the following roundabout, turn right onto Riseholme Road / B1226
  • Then follow final approach directions below

 

From the South

  • From the A1 take the Newark turnoff, signposted A46 / A17 / Newark / Sleaford / Lincoln
  • At the roundabout at the end of the sliproad take the first exit onto A46
  • Stay in the left-hand lane to by-pass the following roundabout and stay on the A46
  • After 18 miles on the A46 turn right onto Riseholme Road / B1226
  • Then follow final approach directions below

 

Final Approach

  • At the following roundabout on Riseholme Road / B1226, turn left onto Longdales Road / B1273
  • Go straight over the following roundabout
  • Turn right at the traffic lights, onto the Wragby Road / A15
  • The Lindum Sports Association is about half a mile down, on the right hand side, at the end of St. Giles Avenue

You should be able to see the pitch on your right, on the other side of the fence, before you get to the corner.

There is plenty of free parking available either by the side of the pitch (first left, through the gates in the fence) or in the clubhouse car park directly ahead.

The pitch itself is accessible via the large (usually open) gates from the car park, to the right of the leisure centre’s main reception.

Final Approach to Lincoln University’s Sports Center

  • After just over two miles you’ll come to a t-junction, opposite the Horse & Groom public house
  • Turn right and go over the bridge / flyover going over the wharf
  • At the roundabout on the other side of the bridge, turn left
  • The entrance to the sports center is the first left as you come off the roundabout
  • Follow the car park around back under the bridge, to the astro turf
