Christmas Junior Training – this Saturday 22nd December at Yarborough S C
Time: 9.00am – 11.00am as usual

The theme is Christmas, so turn up in anything Christmassy ~ Father Christmas hats, Reindeer Antlers, Beards (as long as they do not restrict your vision, etc, etc.) ~ provided that they are safe to wear and will not hurt another member ~ we have to be careful, so NO REAL REINDEER’S ANTLERS, PLEASE!

We hope to lay on some fun events and make it a fun two hours, but most importantly at 10.00am we have our very SPECIAL GUEST coming to see us all.

Georgie Twigg

Our former junior hockey club member back in 2003, now an England and a Great Britain Senior Women’s Teams player, and an England Hockey Ambassador, is coming to see us all in her GB kit and bringing her Olympic Bronze Medal too. Georgie played in the Olympic team that managed to secure third place by defeating New Zealand in the 3rd/4th place play-off last summer in London 2012. She has never lost touch with Lincoln HC despite all her success and, as President and Youth Development Officer, I am very grateful to her for giving us some of her valuable time this Saturday. I am sure you will all make her very welcome.

I also know that she will be happy to have her photograph taken with any of our juniors, so parents, please remember your cameras!
