Georgie Twigg, who describes Lincoln Hockey Club as her first ever club having played in our junior section back in 2003, paid a visit to Junior Training this morning. Georgie is an England and a Great Britain Senior Women’s Teams player and an England Hockey Ambassador.

Braving the poor weather, Georgie arrived in her GB kit and brought with her the Bronze Medal she won at the London 2012 Olympics as well.

This was a wonderful opportunity for the club’s youth players to meet someone playing right and the pinnacle of the sport. Shirts were signed, photos taken and it stirred up a huge amount of enthusiasm for players and parents alike.

Lincoln Hockey Club would like to thank Georgie for taking the time to come and visit.
