Veterans through to the Last Four

The Lincoln Veterans team are through to the semi-finals of the England Hockey Over 50s Cup. Following their 3 – 2 win today against West Wilts they have booked a place in the fifth round of the knock-out competition having already won against Grimsby, Lakelanders and Khalsa Hockey Clubs.

The match proved an exciting game with Lincoln Veterans down by two goals to nil at one point. However they dug in and produced three converted short corners, courtesy of Andy Wright. The semi-finals are due to be played on the 17th of March.
