The first weekend of the year that provided the sort of weather that a true “winter sport” deserves! Having won against Norwich City the week before, the Ladies 1s lost to another Norwich team at home. The Ladies 2s, despite captain Caz May reporting that her team battled well, returned from Long Sutton six goals lighter. On the Mens’ side the 1s and 3s scored 12 goals between them and dropped none. The less said about the Mens 2s the better…. Thankfully the Ladies 1s finished their weekend on a high with a Cup Game win against City of Peterborough.

Team Opposition Location Game Type Result
Ladies 1st Team (Saturday) Norwich Dragons 1 Home League Game Lost 3 – 1
Ladies 2nd Team Long Sutton 1 Away League Game Lost 6 – 0
Mens 1st Team Ramgarhia 1 Home League Game Win 7 – 0
Mens 2nd Team Garforth 1 Away League Game Lost 5 – 4
Mens 3rd Team Sheffield Hallam Home League Game Win 5 – 0
Ladies 1st Team (Sunday) City of Peterborough 1 Home Cup Game Win 7 – 0
