Weekend Review (9th and 10th of November)

Lincoln Hockey Club’s weekend of hockey returned an array of results this time around with the mens’ teams bringing in the top points. The Ladies 1s could only manage a draw with their visitors from Bury St Edmunds while the Ladies 2s suffered a 10-0 loss to Letchworth. Ladies 2 captain Caz May said her side “played the best they’d ever played”. The Mens 1s hosted their fixture against Huddersfield and took three points and three goals while the Mens 2s tried the same but let Leeds Adel put a goal away in return. On Sunday the Veterans made a Huddersfield team make the journey back to Yarborough and came out with an eight-nil win.
