Weekend Review (30th of November and 1st of December)

The weekend saw all of the (non-summer) senior teams playing, resulting in 26 goals for and 17 against the club. The Ladies 1s brought home their third draw of the season from St Ives while a highly entertaining Ladies 2 game saw the team double their points tally so far this season. The Mens 1 won a 12 goal game in North Leeds, the Mens 2s scored a crushing defeat to Hull University and the 3s put in their bid for the largest goal difference in a single game this year by beating Sheffield Hallam 11-2. On Sunday the Veterans lost to Chester, away, and with it last year’s semi-finalists were knocked out of the England Hockey Over 50 Masters Cup.

No Ladies games next weekend, though it’s the Lincoln Christmas Market (are those two facts related, perhaps?) so make sure that you leave plenty of time to get to your venue if you’re playing in Lincoln.
