Weekend Review, February the 1st and 2nd

The first weekend in February saw only two wins from a weekend of six matches The good news was that the Ladies 1s returned to winning ways after a couple of weeks of – by their own standards – disappointing results. The Ladies 2s continued their difficult season by going six goals down to Bedford. The Mens 1s came back from top-of-the-table Airdale two goals lighter than their opposition while the 2s lost their game on the new Lindum pitch against Leeds Gryphons. It was therefore left to the 3s, on the mens’ side, to put in a 5-0 win over Doncaster before the Veterans lost, away to Slazengers on Sunday.
