Lincoln Hockey Club Training for the Season

Pre-season training began at Lincoln Hockey Club back at the start of August, to get back into hockey over the summer months even though people may be away for parts of it on holiday. As we enter September we traditionally split training up into teams.

Lindum Sports Association Astro Turf PitchFollowing a meeting with Lincoln Roses Hockey Club last week over how the pitch should be allocated for the coming season, Lincoln HC will be training during the same slots as last year – Wednesday evenings and half of Thursday evenings. The Committee has decided to split up this allocation between the teams this year so that the following times are dedicated to each section of playing membership.

  • Wednesdays, 6-7pm – Development Teams (both Ladies and Men)
  • Wednesdays, 7-10pm – Ladies & Mens 2s & 3s
  • Thursdays, 8-10pm – Ladies & Mens 1s

1st Team players: arrive at 7:30pm for a warm-up so that the available pitch time can be used as effectively as possible.

Selection for teams will be influenced by club members’ attendance at hockey training.
