Weekend Review, September the 27th

The second league weekend of the season saw two cancellations (one our call – the Ladies 3s; one the opposition’s call – the Mens 4s), two wins, two draws and a loss. Despite a high amount of unavailability in the Ladies 1s the team brought home a 2-1 under the acting captaincy of Maxine Clark. Meanwhile the Ladies 2s drew 3-3 at home with 11 outfield players. The Mens 1s also drew at home to Sheffield University Bankers, the Mens 2s notched up their second win of the season and the Mens 3s lost in the highest scoring game of the weekend away to Worksop.
