Penny Vinter makes England Over 40s’ Training Squad

Club Secretary, 1st Team player and Lincoln Hockey Club’s Clubwomen of the Year Penny Vinter has been selected for the England Over 40s’ Squad for training. Receiving news about her acheivement on Thursday Penny said that she’s “shocked” but “ecstatic” to have been recognised by the England selection panel.

Penny wrote on her Facebook page “Just a quick update on my hockey – I MADE THE CUT
I’m now in the training squad for the England Hockey O40’s. Got confirmation today, and a little shocked to say the least. In the words of my Lincoln Hockey team mates ‘Bring it on!’ — feeling ecstatic.”

From this point Penny will continue to work with the England Hockey who will use this selection squad, going forward, to form a team. The club wishes Penny all the very best.
