James Hillsmith, Mens’ 1st Team player, has been asked passed on the message below from a friend of his. Alex Waller is looking into the aggressiveness of players in hockey .

London Olympic Hockey

I am currently in my 3rd year of University, working on my Dissertation, which consists of analysing the aggression levels of field hockey players. My aim is to collect and analyse the results from 400 questionnaires; 200 from male hockey players and 200 from female hockey players. However, the more responses I receive will increase the quality of the data and the Dissertation as a whole.

If you have never played hockey, please do not answer the questionnaire, as it will provide me with inaccurate and incorrect scores, which in turn will affect the whole Dissertation. If you have, you may have played hockey at some point in the past, or currently still do. It does not matter for how long, or at which level you have played, only that you have.

The questionnaire takes about 5 minutes to fill out, it is anonymous, and no personal information is required or saved. Therefore I would genuinely appreciate it if you could take this time to carefully read and answer the questions truthfully. The more truthful the answers are, the more accurate, reliable and valid the data will be.
