Outcome of the Lincoln Hockey Club EGM, Friday 20th of March
An Extraordinary General Meeting (EGM) was held earlier this evening, Friday March the 20th, at the Lindum Sports Association. The EGM was called to present a proposal of a merger with Lincoln Roses Hockey Club. A presentation was delivered by the committee, fronted by Chairman Tim Sutton, John Sisman, Becki Gamble and Mark Sadler, while questions were asked by the club members present. A vote was then held on whether the club favoured a merger or not.
The outcome of this vote, announced later on in the evening after counting had concluded and in conjunction with the directives set out in Lincoln Hockey Club’s Constitution, was that the club is in favour of pushing forward with a merger.
Lincoln Roses Hockey Club’s EGM, where their members will be shown the same presentation, takes place next week.
