Fitness Fanatic, and Club Fitness Coach last year, Lizzie Corbett is taking part in Weymouth’s Ironman Competition.

The competition takes place in September and involves running, cycling and swimming around the location of the London 2012 Olympic and Paralympic sailing events.

Lizzie says “I have decided to compete in Weymouth Ironman to raise as much money as possible for Macmillan Cancer Support. Like most people, I have close family that have been affected by Cancer. As an ‘outsider’ I have been only been affected emotionally and cannot begin to imagine how strong you have to be as an individual to face the demon head on. This is why I want to put my body through a tough physical challenge and hopefully raise as much money as possible to help those facing Cancer by helping the support system by Macmillan.”
