The Philip Ingall Technical Area

The Technical Official’s dugout on the pitch at the Lindum Sports Association has been renamed in honour of Philip Ingall
On Saturday 2nd September 2017 at Lindum Hockey Club’s “HockeyFest Day“, Joint-President Tony Perrin welcomed Philip Ingall to the renaming of the technical official’s dugout on the pitch which will now be known as “The Philip Ingall Technical Area”. There is now a plaque in the dugout commemorating Philip’s membership and association with the former Lincoln Hockey Club and now Lindum Hockey Club for the past 65 years, as both a playing and officiating member.

Philip is a past president of the Lincolnshire Hockey Association and is its current Chairman. He is also a past President and Chairman of the Lincolnshire County Hockey Umpiring Association. He has also been a former Technical Officer at National League matches for England Hockey. As an octogenarian he has now decided to retire from umpiring senior league hockey but will remain as Lindum’s Technical Official for the 1st Teams’ home games this season.
