A new new long-term kit supplier partnership and a new way to obtain it, from Lindum Hockey Club ahead of the 2019/20 season

Following multiple discussions with different companies the club has chosen to work with Canterbury and MDH Teamwear & Trophies to provide affordable, high-quality kit.

Established in 1904, Canterbury has built a reputation for providing the world’s toughest active-wear, constantly challenging sporting boundaries to pursue the latest technological advancements both on-and-off-the-field.

MDH Teamwear & Trophies are a trusted and well-established Canterbury Teamwear retailer for the East Midlands, based in Market Harborough, Leicestershire with a further branch in Milton Keynes. MDH Teamwear have a successful history working with Canterbury across sport and educational sectors, and Lindum Hockey Club will be working closely with them to deliver a high quality service and products to all members.

We are also excited to announce that we are launching an online club shop to provide this. Through this portal, we will be able to process all orders internally, with MDH Teamwear & Trophies providing customer support for their products on the back of this.

We are delighted to reach an agreement with MDH and Canterbury to deliver high quality kit and great customer service to Lindum Hockey Club members“, says Commercial Officer Sean O’Kelly. “There have been a lot of discussion points running in the background and Andy from MDH Teamwear has been extremely accommodating in putting together a simple range of products to deliver the needs of the club and its members. Special thanks also to Alex Cooper in creating an easy to use club shop on the back of what is already a highly functional and well developed website“.

On the new partnership, MDH Teamwear & Trophies Managing Director Andy Sparrow added,”we are excited to be able to work with Lindum Hockey Club on this new venture and help elevate the standard of club kit, both on and off the pitch, to match the high standards that the club has aspired to in many other areas. We are relishing the opportunity to get started and deliver a great service to the club that MDH Teamwear & Trophies has built its reputation upon to this point“.

Club Junior Chairperson, and former kit aficionado, John Sisman had this to say: “We are delighted to be working with a new kit supplier who can offer us greater flexibility, reliability and an all-round higher quality product. Hosting our own kit shop enables all members to be able to purchase new kit, direct to the door, and without waiting for delivery windows. We are looking forward to a really exciting partnership with MDH Teamwear & Trophies and Canterbury”.
