Lincoln Christmas Market Parking is once again going to be held at the Lindum Sports Association

Lindum Hockey Club, along with Lindum Cricket Club at the Lindum Sports Association, operate a car park for patrons, merchants and those visiting the famous Lincoln Christmas Market in the heart of the City of Lincoln. The funds raised from this event are divided between the clubs and the Lindum Sports Association itself.

The parking facilities are a five / ten minute walk to The Bailgate at the top of Lincoln’s famous Hill, where the market is taking place, and we are one of the cheapest and accessible places to leave your vehicle.

Parking costs £10 for the whole all day, payment is on the gate (advanced booking is not available), hot food and drinks are available and the car park is manned throughout the day for your security.

Call for Volunteers

As you know from putting the dates in your diary after last year, it’s that time of year again where we need to start putting rotas together for Lincoln Christmas Market parking.

The dates for the market this year are as follows:

• Wednesday 4th December
  • Late Afternoon/Evening sign set up (6 volunteers)
• Thursday 5th December
  • Help required between 8am – 10pm approx
• Friday 6th December
  • Help required between 8am – 10pm approx
• Saturday 7th December
  • Help required between 7am – 10pm approx
• Sunday 8th December
  • Help required between 8am – 10pm approx

Can you please check your diaries and let me know your availability on the dates above? You don’t need to be a club member; parents and friends of the club are warmly welcomed to help!
