An important notice to all hockey pitch key holders

This is a plea to everyone using the hockey pitch, and especially those with a key to the facilities.

Complaints have been received that the gates to the pitch were left open last Monday night (the 27th of January) after a Lindum Hockey Club session. A local school have similarly left the gates open occasionally as well.

Please can the we, as a club, make sure that the hockey pitch gates are shut and locked after every session? This is important on two count; first is an insurance requirement and, secondly, there are a couple of foxes that have also been spotted around the Lindum grounds! We ideally do not want them going onto the pitch, leaving their business and potentially damaging it.
