Coaching Roles 2022-23

Expressions of interest are now open for the Coaching roles within the club for the forthcoming 2022-23 hockey season
We are now seeking expressions of interest for roles within the junior sections of the club. This coming season we will again be entering sides from U8’s in Lincolnshire to U16 entering EH competitions nationally and in the North.
Team managers (U8,U10 Boys, U10 Girls, U12 Boys, U12 Girls, U14 Boys, U14 Girls, U16 Boys, U16 Girls)
- Be responsible for organising LHC teams to fulfil junior fixtures.
- Manage all communications with parents for your team
- Corresponding with other clubs around match day logistics.
- Work with Lead coaches to select teams.
Coaches
- Work with Junior Lead coach to plan and deliver engaging, exciting and inclusive hockey provision for all of our Under 18s.
- When available support age group teams during fixtures.
- Engage in planning and review sessions at regular points in the year.
- Engage in training and development opportunities provided by Lindum Hockey Club and England Hockey.
- Be involved in collecting and providing feedback to players and senior selection group when applicable.
- Be a great role model for our young players.
Young Leaders
- Begin your coaching journey by supporting qualified lead coaches at any of the junior sessions, match-days or festivals.
- Can be a good opportunity for anyone completing Duke of Edinburgh awards.
- Opportunity to gain formal qualifications.
Each role will be subject to completion of a DBS check and willingness to complete Safeguarding and First Aid training.
