More frost, freezing temperatures and changes to hockey-playing plans lie in store

As we head into the end of November, and the start of December, the ongoing low temperatures and existing condition of the pitch are already changing plans for hockey this week. As well a lot of matches being cancelled last weekend, we’ve seen Academy Training be called off this week as well.

This page will be continually updated and cover the time from now (Thursday lunchtime) until the end of the weekend with any news on cancellations and changes.

As ever, assume any fixtures and training sessions will take place unless otherwise advised. As a club, we never want to call off matches if we can possibly avoid it and any decisions made to do so are always done with the best intentions and using all available knowledge at the time.

Thursday Training

The pitch is frozen in patches, and with a temperature forecast of zero degrees centigrade at 7pm, training has been cancelled for Thursday night.

Saturday the 2nd of December

Junior Training will not be taking place on Saturday. This decision is based upon the forecast and current pitch conditions at 10:30am on Friday.

Saturday’s senior fixtures can be found here.
