Lincoln A Team tighten their grip on the Lincolnshire Friendly Under 14 League

Another superb display of passing team hockey, along with a personal goal scoring tally for skipper, Louie Sadler, saw Lincoln Hockey Club’s “A” Team win all five of their matches last Sunday at Bourne Deeping Hockey Club’s ground at Glinton, near Peterborough, and without conceding a single goal. An awesome display of junior hockey by a mixed side of Sadler, Tom Rounsley, Libby Thorne, Charlotte Simpson, Sam Gilbert, Angus Graham and Kate Fitzpatrick produced some very exciting and brilliant match play showing again how Lincoln Hockey Club produce more talent to support hockey in Lincolnshire.

The scores were:

  • 5 – 0 v Sleaford
  • 7 – 0 v Louth
  • 4 – 0 v Bourne Deeping
  • 3 – 0 v main rivals, Long Sutton
  • 4 – 0 v Alford.

Well done to all the team

The “B” Team again did well, considering their inexperience at this level, in drawing two games and losing one of the other games 0 – 1 and the other 0 – 3, but will learn from this and be all the stronger next time.
