Hockey keeps going, at Lindum Hockey Club, right throughout the year

This year’s summer of events has been announced, with hockey taking place at the Lindum Sports Association throughout the summer and into the new 2018 / 2019 league hockey season.

The current list of scheduled events is below;

25^th May	10:30 – 14:30	U11 Schools Hockey Festival	Engage local schools with Lindum Hockey Club Promote Lindum HC to prospective new juniors (inspire new members)
11^th July	10:30 – 14:30	U11 Schools Hockey Festival	Engage local schools with Lindum Hockey Club Promote Lindum HC to prospective new juniors (inspire new members)
12^th July	13:00 – 15:00	Secondary Schools Festival Rush Hockey	Engage local schools with Lindum Hockey Club Promote Lindum HC to prospective new juniors (inspire new members)
21^st July	10:00 – 13:00	Club SSG day – World cup theme – Fancy Dress 5 aside, 1 player per team non member	Fun day for current members (reengage into club activities) Engage new members
21^st July	14:00 -16:00	Club Social England VS India Match Volunteer Recruitment (presentation on club roles and value of volunteers)	Recognise the work of key volunteers within the club Social event to bring club members together
5^th August	14:00-18:00	World Cup Finals Day Small Games Watch the world cup final	Fun day for current members Engage new members
1^st September	11:00 – 14:00	Club Day Small Sided Games Hockey Challenge	Officially open the clubs for 2018/19 season Club opens their doors to new and existing players. Promote with local media Celebrate how social the club is
5^th September	18:00 – 20:00	Workplace challenge 5 aside	Engage local companies with Lindum Hockey Club Promote to Local Media Local media outlets love a good community story and your club will get some great local PR coverage.
Date TBC	Time TBC	Young Leaders Workshop (14-18 years)	Introduce Young Leaders to other aspects of the game such as assisting with coaching, umpiring or organising junior festivals. Young leaders will gain valuable experience, great content for their CVs, and we will generate a bigger workforce.
