Hockey World Cup Day at Lindum Hockey Club
Saturday the 21st of July is the first of our Hockey World Cup social days, celebrating hockey at both international and club level
As advertised earlier in the year, the club is holding several events this year around the Womens Hockey World Cup, being held at the Lee Valley Hockey and Tennis centre in London. The first of these is England v. India and we’re making a day of it, bringing people together at the club, having loads of fun and also raising money for the Lincoln Friends of Anthony Nolan charity.
The event will run from 11am – 1:30pm and then England play in the Hockey World Cup at 2pm. The match against India will be on the large TVs in the (newly refurbished) bar at the Lindum Sports Association and can be enjoyed along with a few cheeky drinks. Depending upon how England get on, those drinks may continue into the evening!
