Saturday 29th September sees Lindum Hockey Club take part in the WORLDS BIGGEST COFFEE morning for the first time

Macmillan Cancer Support have been running Coffee Mornings for the last few years, asking people all over the UK to host their own Coffee Mornings and taking donations on the day for the charity. Last year they raised £27m. This year, Lindum Hockey Club is also getting involved.

Our event takes place in the Lindum Sports Association Clubhouse on Saturday the 29th of September from 9:30am and is open to all. We hope to serve cakes, pastries and maybe the odd quiche (especially for Chunky) sausage rolls etc.

To do this and make as much money for this wonderful cause we need your baking donations, please. After seeing and tasting many fantastic contributions to The Presidents Day ‘Bake Off’ we hope that you can once again don your chefs’ hats for Macmillan Cancer Support. Any contribution would be greatly accepted, you don’t have to have the skills of Mary Berry, Paul Hollywood or our newly acclaimed master baker Dewy!
