Review of Fireworks Night, 2019
Posted by Caroline May
Last night saw the 2019 edition of the Lindum Fireworks Display, and once again the event becomes bigger and better
A massive thank you to everyone who came along last night and made it a success; local residents, those who travelled, and supporters and members of the member clubs of the Lindum Sports Association (Lindum Cricket Club, Lindum Squash Club and of course Lindum Hockey Club). You all contributed to making last night’s Firework Display the event it has become.
With around 2,600 people coming through the gates and enjoying the spectacle the atmosphere and attraction, we’re already looking forward to organising this event again next year!

Thank You!
Thank you so much to all of you who came along today and helped at the fireworks. As cliche as it sounds, we really have no chance of running things like that without the help of ever so willing people like you.
You have already seen the efforts of the fireworks and Christmas parking last year with the aesthetic improvements to the club house that now see it as a place to be proud to have teams back to. It cost a huge amount of money and we have invested all funds in it for a couple of years however – thanks to the numbers coming through the gates – we raised a good amount of money which goes back in to the community’s sports clubs.
Thank you so much to everyone, not only were the fireworks themselves great but we once again flew the flag proudly for our hockey club.
