The Over 40s began their campaign with a close 2-1 defeat to Spain followed by 2 big victories over Italy (11-0) and Ireland (7-1). This resulted in a 2nd place finish in Pool B and a quarter final match up with Scotland. England were victorious with Ian Ferraby scoring the second from a penalty corner in a 3-2 victory.

The team were narrowly defeated 2-1 in the semi-final by The Netherlands but finished the tournament in 3rd place, dispatching Germany 4-0.

The Over 55s opened their tournament with 4 successive victories. Billy Marwaha got on the scoresheet in a 4-0 win over Italy, followed by a 6-0 defeat of Ireland, narrow 1-0 victory over Scotland, and a 6-0 triumph of Wales. They then faced the difficult task of overcoming Germany and the Netherlands but were beaten 4-1 and 4-3 to round off the pool games. Marwaha registered the equaliser for 3-3 in their final pool game, before the Dutch sealed victory moments later. They faced Wales in the Bronze medal match and came out on top, winning 4-1.
