Junior Virtual Hockey
Junior Training may have come to an end on the pitch but there’s always room for hockey – even in social distancing!
The schools are closed, in the face of the Coronavirus / Covid-19 outbreak, and the Government’s latest advice is to only venture out to see other people if it isn’t essential. Being cooped up with either social distancing or in isolation isn’t going to be a lot of fun and with the suspension of all hockey activities we feel as though the hockey season’s been taken away from us.
You can’t get to the pitch and your coaches can’t get to the pitch but where there’s a will there’s way. So with that mind we’re going to have a crack at Virtual Hockey Training for our Junior Members. Watch the videos, go and grab your stick and a ball and get your hockey fix at home. These are all open to the public so if you’ve got brothers and sisters, family and friends who want to have a go then get them involved!
You don’t have to do each exercise once and then forget about it; challenge yourselves each day to do better than the day before and we’ll aim, as best we can, to bring you a different challenge every Sunday.
Just because you’re stuck at home doesn’t mean you can’t keep working to perfect those skills.
